Are you the Turtle on the fence or the helping hand?
Sponsoring someone is just the beginning of your process, not the end result. Let me explain!
Lets have a little fun here. I read a story a long time ago that stuck in my mind. I have to admit I don’t remember the speaker but it went sort of like this:
While walking down a country road I came up to an intersection in the road. As I looked in all ways to see which direction was the best direction for my life, I happened to notice a turtle sitting on a fence post.
There was no one around for miles. It was apparent to me that one, he didn’t get there by himself! Two, now that he was there, what was he going to do?? And three, I knew he was going to need help to get down from there!
That story reminds me of how we are in network or internet marketing. And what our roles are.
We didn’t get here by ourselves. We were introduced to the program by someone or something.
So now we find ourselves on the fence post. What are we to do now? There are a number of solutions and systems in place to help with that. This is the point that is critical to success, a system and training to help the new person stuck up on that fence post. You have your sponsor coach or mentor to help you off the fence post. That is what they are there for. They have a vested interest in your success. Your success is their success. Some of you have up-line leaders that are hard to contact for what ever the reason, keep going up until you find someone. Get plugged into the training, back office training videos..ask questions and we as sponsors are responsible for guidance, even if we are also new and need direction.
I have in my career been awarded many achievement awards, the one I would cherish the most is the one for helping those on a fence post get down and become successful!
Because that is what it’s all about, that’s why the tag line “A life not lived for others is a life half lived”…I believe that…
Your success is in fact all of our successes, don’t sit on a fence post let someone help you down.
I once read these words of wisdom and they have rung true in our journey to success.
“No one has a corner on success. Pay the price for it and it’s yours. No matter what you want from life you’ve got to give up something to get it. Nothing worthwhile will come easily to you. Hard work will accomplish results that last. There is no easy road to success. You’ve got to work a great deal harder than most people to get it. There is no success at bargain basement prices. The highway to success is a toll road.”
In closing remember working together is a two way street…if you don’t hear from your sponsor, contact him…if there is no chemistry there go up-line….if you get no assistance, give me a call…..I’ll work with you!!
COMING SOON…OUR NEW E-BOOK…Passion and The Gift of Life
I think you will find it inspiring.
Make a difference in someone’s life today!! They deserve it, YOU deserve it!!
“A life not lived for others is a life half lived”… Live it 100% ..I do!

Great post!! So true…..we have a huge responsiblity once we bring on a new team member to help them learn the system and become successful. But we can’t push a rope. They must bring to the table a burning desire to learn and then they must take action. Knowledge+action=success Your business partner, life partner and love…….Cheryl
Too true Mr Rae Too true !
I feel that it is consistency that people struggle with, just because it is an online effort doesn’t mean that you don’t have to unlock the shop door every day, welcome your customers in and offer assistance.
Simalarly your loyal customers will have to visit the shop from time to time to gain the first hand benefits.
Kindest Regards,
Graham Price
